Canadian Palladium Resources Inc., formerly 21C Metals Inc., is an exploration company focused on the acquisition and development of palladium, copper and cobalt assets. Both metals are critical to the vehicle industry. Presently, there is an acute shortage of palladium, which is used for catalytic converters in today’s stringent emission control environment. Additionally, cobalt is a critical element in the ever-growing electric vehicle (EV) industry, most notably in EV batteries and associated charging stations.
Canadian Palladium Resources Inc. has its flagship 992 hectare East Bull Palladium project in Ontario, Canada. The projected has been drilled over 1,800 m strike length to a maximum depth of 120 m. The mineralized zone has 3,600 m strike length and open at depth.
Their Tisova copper-cobalt property is comprised of 327 hectares of mineral concessions in the Czech Republic and 7,710-hectares of mineral concessions in Germany. The property is also strategically located within 150 kilometers of several EV battery plants in Europe.
The Company has the 43-101 compliant 523,000 oz palladium equivalent resource. They awarded a diamond drill contract to Vital Drilling of Val Caron, Ontario. The diamond drill program comprising of 10 to 15 holes is planned for 2020. The company also has formed an exploration information alliance with Grid Metals to optimize the exploration of palladium mineralization in East Bull Intrusion.
The company has a very tight float of 65 million outstanding shares and was trading at 13.5 cents on January 15, 2020, 145% higher from its low of 5.5 cents on December 30, 2019.
